"So when 'that day comes,' it is the people we love who will be burdened with all the arrangements and funeral costs," he added.
According to him, in some cities the funeral process and arrangements can cost quite a lot, ranging from millions to hundreds of millions of rupiah. This can add to the burden of those who are already overwhelmed with grief and loss.
Driven by this reason, Riman founded Kamboja. They are a provider of planning, organizing and funding services for funerals, offering complete funeral arrangement and management services up to and including their financing.
When the time of mourning arrives, Kamboja helps with everything related to funeral arrangements and financing, from transportation and handling of the body, burial/cremation location, coffin, gravestone, funeral home/viewing venue, catering for mourners, to administrative matters. They charge a fee of around IDR 35,000.
"It would be better for us to start being more open minded, independent and prepared. This is to protect everyone we love so they are spared from unimaginable burdens when we go before them," he concluded.
