Kamboja's long-term funeral protection gives physical and financial support, for a set period, to your surviving relatives or family if you pass away as a member during the active protection period or before it ends.

With Kamboja's long-term funeral protection, your family or relatives do not need to burden themselves with arranging or paying for your funeral when you pass away.

Kamboja will help with everything your funeral needs, from care of the body to the burial or cremation, including the funding.

In this way you protect your family from the physical and financial burden of arranging your funeral.

To register as a member of Kamboja's long-term funeral protection, you must be between 18 and 59 years old. A one-time registration fee of IDR 250,000 applies.

You will also pay a periodic contribution that depends on:

1. The protection type you choose (the amount of the benefit)

2. The member's age

3. Whether the insured person smokes

4. The payment period

Ordinary term life insurance only pays a sum insured to the family if the insured person dies during the active insurance period or before it ends.

That money is usually used by the family for household needs and other expenses after the insured person dies.

Kamboja's long-term funeral protection helps relatives and family arrange the whole funeral, from care of the body and transport of the body, to funeral items (shroud, headstone, coffin, flower package, tent and chairs, mourners' refreshments, and more), through to the burial or cremation, when the member passes away during the protection period.

Kamboja also offers a Cash Only option, where the insured person can choose to receive the full benefit for the protection type chosen. The family or heirs can use the benefit to pay for all funeral needs and other expenses.

Protecting the people you love from the burden of a funeral is a wise and valuable thing to do. It brings peace of mind to you as well as to them. Kamboja's long-term funeral protection shields them from the physical and financial burden after you are gone.

Every new Kamboja member must wait at least 45 days after membership is approved before being fully protected.

This reduces risk and confirms that each member was in good health when they registered for Kamboja's long-term funeral protection.

As long as membership stays active and is renewed, Kamboja fully provides funeral protection until the member passes away or reaches the maximum age.

The maximum age for membership of Kamboja's long-term funeral protection is 64, and membership ends automatically at that age.

At present Kamboja cannot protect members older than this maximum age. We are, however, working to raise the maximum age so that membership can run longer in future.

Because this is not a savings or investment product, no money is held back or returned if membership is cancelled or ends, even if the member has paid for a period of time.

The money a member pays for a period is used only to protect the member during that period.

No. Kamboja fully provides the member's funeral benefits and services, as set by the protection type chosen at registration, even if the member has not yet paid the full amount for that protection type.

In addition, the family is released from any charges, both for the funeral services and for the member's next protection periods.

Yes. Deaths from accidents are fully covered by Kamboja, even without going through the protection waiting period, so a claim can be made at any time if a death occurs.

Deaths from Covid-19 or the coronavirus are fully covered by Kamboja. The insured person must have been a Kamboja member for at least 45 days.

When a member or insured person passes away, report it straight away to our hotline on 0822 1111 1415. Please give the membership number and some of the insured person's details, such as name and date of birth, to help with verification.

We will then follow up on the report straight away by contacting the related parties, whether family, relatives or heirs, to discuss the procedures and budget for the funeral.

After that, the Kamboja team and third parties will work together to carry out the procedures smoothly, to reduce the burden on those left behind.

Kamboja's On-Demand Funeral Service handles every funeral completely and reliably. It is available to anyone, at any time they need it, including non-members.

We understand that arranging a funeral is not easy. That is why we are ready to help you pay the best respect to your loved ones. From planning to carrying out the service, we will help as well as we can.

When a death occurs, or is expected soon, you can contact Kamboja's customer support or hotline to discuss the funeral plan, or choose one of the ready packages directly.

Kamboja customer support will give you an offer form to fill in. Please provide as much information and as many services as you need.

You will then receive the offer and the total cost by email. If you agree, you can pay a deposit so the service can be coordinated and carried out straight away.

A Kamboja Funeral Manager will contact you as soon as the offer is approved, to explain the details of the arrangements.

Every funeral is different, and so is the timing. It usually depends on the type of funeral: Muslim, non-Muslim or cremation.

A Muslim funeral normally takes 12 to 24 hours from the time the report is received.

For non-Muslim funerals and cremations, it usually takes about 3 to 5 days, depending on how long the body is kept at the funeral home.

Yes. You can choose the services you need. We provide funeral services from care of the body and funeral arrangements to body transport, funeral items, flowers and mourners' refreshments.

We also provide grave relocation, body repatriation, body cargo and much more.

The cost of Kamboja's complete funeral service depends on the package chosen. We have funeral packages from Standard and Premium up to VIP.

Prices also depend on working hours and the area. Please contact our Customer Support to request a quote for your funeral.

Each package has an additional management fee. It is needed so we can provide the best, well-organised service for your funeral.

The Kamboja management fee is charged to the heirs or client for services carried out by Kamboja's virtual funeral service team, such as customer service, coordination and management of third parties, operator wages, tips, transport, administration and VAT.

We are clear about costs from the start, so there are no hidden fees to surprise you after the service ends.

In normal situations, Kamboja's verbal and virtual coordination with field teams and third parties works well and effectively. In some situations, however, extra support on site, at the cemetery / TPS or at the funeral home, is needed. This helps families prepare the funeral as well as possible.

That is why Kamboja Funeral Management is needed. It is included in the Complete Funeral Service or can be ordered together with other services.
